A 8 or 9 foot railroad tie weighs approximately 145 lbs.
A very good quality used tie, with end plate helps to keep tie from splitting and twisting. Approximately 7″ x 9″ diameter coated with a creosote preservative ( creosote is considered a toxic substance and my cause skin irritation ). Individually priced or in bundles of 25.
